Kathy Allen

Owner, Tax Preparer, Bookkeeper

Kathy brings a wealth of financial expertise to her role, having dedicated two years to serving as the bookkeeper at a prominent public school boasting an annual budget exceeding $5 million, along with an additional $30 million in federal funding. Kathy oversaw various financial functions, including managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and federal funds. Her responsibilities also included collaborating closely with certified public accountants (CPAs) to prepare audits and tax filings. Kathy has amassed two decades of experience as an owner and manager of small businesses. During this time, she managed tasks such as bank reconciliations, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and the handling of all tax filings and associated liabilities. Kathy also boasts seven years of experience in commercial banking and loan services. Kathy’s educational background is in accounting from the University of South Carolina.

William A. (Gus) Boyle

BS in Business Administration, The Citadel. Over 30 years of experience in accounting and preparation of business, fiduciary and personal tax returns.

Lauren Capell

Twenty years ago, Lauren Capell relocated to Sumter alongside her family due to their association with the Air Force. Over the years, she ventured into diverse career paths, spending 12 years as a Pastry Chef before deciding to return to school in pursuit of something fresh. Equipped with a degree in Accounting, six years of professional experience in the field, and a commitment to annual continuing education in Tax Law, Lauren now serves as our dedicated Account Specialist. Her responsibilities encompass handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Sales Tax filing, and Quarterly & Annual company filings.
